Texas Department of Information Resources TEXAS CYBERSTAR CERTIFICATE - (2023)
Datamax Inc. is pleased to earn the Texas Cyberstar Certificate from the Texas Department of Information Resources for 2023. The Texas Cyberstar Certificate is recognition of an organization's commitment to cybersecurity best practices and to being a good organizational cybercitizen in the Texas cybercommunity.
Cyberstar Certificate Requirements include:
- Adopting a cybersecurity risk management program;
- Providing appropriate training and information for employees;
- Maintaining consistency with National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) standards for cybersecurity;
- Incorporating public service announcements to encourage cybersecurity awareness; and
- Coordinating with local and state governmental entities.
There are 12 subcriteria for entities to be awarded a Texas Cyberstar Certificate. For 2023-2024, there are no new criteria. Refer to the Texas Cyberstar Certificate Program Manual for detailed criteria.
Texas Association of Business (TAB) BEST COMPANIES TO WORK FOR IN TEXAS - (2022)
Datamax Inc. proudly announces being named among the “Best Companies to Work for in Texas” for 2022. This survey and awards program, conducted by an independent research firm, was designed to recognize the best employers in the state, the ones that make it a priority to create better workplaces for their employees.

Canon ATSP - 16 Straight Years (2022-2007)
Datamax is the only independent dealer/service provider in the region, and one of only four in the nation, to achieve ATSP — Canon’s highest standard for service training certification — for 16 straight years. Datamax is also the only independent dealer/service provider to claim two (out of eight total) Canon ATSP Master Level Technician Awards in the nation.
Canon’s Association of Technical Service Professionals (ATSP) recognizes Datamax for having more than 75% of its service representatives certified within their program (Datamax certified 100% of its Service Representatives for 2022.) Through a series of exhaustive exams, the ATSP program challenges Canon Authorized Dealership technical support professionals to confirm their skills and knowledge utilized in the support of Canon Copiers and Printers. When a client sees the Canon ATSP logo, they can be assured that the technical support professional responding to their call has the highest industry standard of service certification and manufacturer training to effectively solve any problem.
Canon ADVANCED PARTNER - 10 Straight Years (2023-2014)
Datamax Inc. has also been selected as an elite member of Canon’s Advanced Partner Program due to our high level of product sales and service performance. The Advanced Partner Program recognizes the very best in the dealer community with less than 10% qualifying for this elite distinction. Qualifying for this program is contingent on providing high-quality products and solutions with high-quality service and business practices. Additionally, the Advanced Partner Program provides technical “fast pass” support, priority service training, and additional access to “exclusive” training offerings from Canon.
Konica Minolta PRO-TECH - Four Years (2017-2014)
The Pro-Tech Service Award recognizes Datamax’s ability to demonstrate an exceptional commitment to customer support and satisfaction. The Pro-Tech Service standard is difficult to achieve, and the evaluation procedure is exhaustive. Every element of Datamax’s service operation – management skills, inventory control, technical expertise, dispatch systems, customer satisfaction, and more – was scrutinized and measured. NPS® has become the world standard for measuring customer satisfaction levels. Rather than saying we have the "Best" service, we use a 3rd party company to automate follow-up messages to our customers, including getting feedback and tracking NPS®. CEO Juice is an independent A.I. company with an audited process where every step is controlled by them, the numbers cannot be changed even if we show our customer gave us a low score in error. NPS® is a scale of -100 to +100 and is based on the single question "How likely are you to recommend us to a friend or colleague."
Satmetrix defines World Class Service as an NPS® score above 70. The average US company has a Net Promoter Score of 10, making World Class quite impressive! An NPS score above 0 is considered “Good," 50+ is “Excellent.” and 70+ is “World Class.”
