Why Datamax? In my career, I was looking for somewhere with plenty of room to grow. Datamax has afforded me the opportunity to expand my skills and responsibilities from within a highly service-oriented organization.

About Shawn

Shawn began his copier industry career as a field technician with ProTech Dallas/Fort Worth. In 2004, in searching for a company that would afford him long-term opportunities for advancement, he found Datamax. He joined the team here initially as a shop technician.

Shawn has steadily climbed the ranks of the Service Department since joining Datamax. After only a few months in the shop, he signed on as an onsite technician. Shortly after, he joined the Fort Worth Team as a field technician, only to be promoted to lead technician, where he trained new technicians and took on higher-level support issues. In 2013, he was promoted to supervisor.

Since 2018, Shawn has served as a Field Service Manager, overseeing 11 technicians that support the Dallas/Fort Worth marketplace. In October 2021, Shawn was awarded Canon USA’s Association of Technical Service Professionals (ATSP) Master Level Certification. At the time, he was only one of eight professionals in the country to do so.
