Technology Services Sales Consultant - (Outside B2B)

Datamax Texas is looking for a driven, focused, and talented Technology Services Outside Sales Consultant. Someone who is not afraid of calling on executive level (CEO, CFO, President, etc.) prospects to introduce our Business Process and Strategic Technology Solutions. These solutions could involve hardware, software, and/or professional services / consulting solutions. There will be an assigned territory/accounts located in the Dallas/ Fort Worth Metroplex and surrounding areas.

To ensure your ability to succeed, Datamax provides a wide variety of sales and technical training on the technology-based solutions that we sell, access to CRM database in which targeted account information is readily available, technical, managerial, and even peer level support during the sales process, administrative support with proposal development and order coordination, a highly professional work environment, and onsite, engaging executive staff.

A typical sales cycle will include:

  • Prospecting and utilizing our CRM database to set the initial meeting
  • Building rapport with prospective clients and current customers
  • Gaining an understanding of the client's current business environment - both generally and specifically from a Business Process and Strategic Technology standpoint
  • Uncovering needs, challenges, and opportunities
  • Qualifying prospects
  • Developing solutions
  • Re-qualify and review needs, challenges and/or opportunities,
  • Finalizing the details of solutions
  • Direct access to working with Account Management team ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Growing the business from within

Requirements:

  • Minimum of one (1) year B2B outside sales experience (technology-based)
  • Successful grasp of a professional, consultative sales process
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Strong competitive spirit
  • Strong computer knowledge is required (MS Office, Adobe, CRM, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Networking is a great asset to this position
